Salary

This role comes with an hourly rate of $15.50 to $18, plus tips, offering a competitive compensation package. Additionally, our PT roles are eligible for benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Job Description

As a Catering Operations Associate, you will work under the supervision of our Catering Manager and Food & Beverage Director to execute all in-house catered events. Your responsibilities will include setting up dining and buffet areas, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of tableware and chafing dishes, storing clean equipment, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints. You will also be responsible for serving food and beverages, monitoring food levels, and resetting tables between guests.

  • Attention to Detail: You should be meticulous in your work, ensuring that all details are correct and executed flawlessly.
  • High Pressure Handling: You should be able to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, remaining calm and composed under stress.
  • Education and Experience: You should have a High School diploma and three years of experience in catering or a related food service area, or an Associate's degree and one year of experience, or a combination of experience and higher education equal to three years.
  • Communication Skills: You should possess strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
  • Knowledge of Food Preparation: You should have knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and customer service, as well as basic computer skills as required by the department.
