Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Speed CNC Machinist and Grinder Specialist to join our team at Custom Tool & Grinding. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to take their skills to the next level in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

Estimated Salary Range:

$17 - $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a dynamic, high-speed production setting, adhering to standardized work practices and ensuring safe work procedures.
  • Perform pre-operation activities to guarantee proper equipment startup and operation on multiple machines.
  • Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during production to ensure quality output and minimize downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support teams to maintain continuous production of high-quality products with minimal waste.
  • Regularly perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in CNC machining, particularly grinding operations.
  • Ability to design cutting tools and program CNC tool grinders.
  • Expertise in setting up machines for production runs and running small batch productions or overseeing human or robotic production.
  • Maintenance of grinding wheels for production.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing inspection equipment.
