Key Responsibilities:

The Medical Scribe Specialist will provide critical support to healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient information in real-time during exams. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Documenting Patient Information: The Scribe will chart in real-time, documenting the patient's history, physical exam, assessment, and plan, as well as results, procedures, and treatment. They will also transcribe ancillary test results and their interpretations, and check on the progress of labs, imaging studies, and other patient data.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant or Scribe experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with completion of Anatomy and Physiology
  • Medical Terminology required
  • Clinical experience in a medical office is required, urgent care or emergency department preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency with EMR systems required

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • The ability to multitask in high-stress environments
  • A typing speed of 50+ WPM
