Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist - Innovation Leader to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data architecture principles, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration processes
  • Ensure data security and privacy measures are implemented and maintained
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics dashboards to support business decision-making

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in data management, leading teams as a data or information architect
  • Strong experience with tools such as Erwin, Informatica Data Catalog, Glue Data Catalog, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, metadata management, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis
  • Knowledgeable, go-getter, self-driven individual with strong sense of ownership
  • Team player/collaborator who builds relation with customers and team members, earns their trust, and creates influence to meet tactical or strategic objectives
