About the Role:

Jolene's is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure a high level of service and quality.
  • Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
  • Handle paperwork and other administrative duties, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Manage the budget and keep relevant statistical and financial records.
  • Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant patrons and employees.
  • Communicate and collaborate with owner, vendors, bookkeepers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with miscellaneous office functions, as needed.
  • Reports and projects, as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a restaurant with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, production techniques, and flavor profiles is preferred.
  • Knowledge, experience, and passion for French cuisine is a bonus.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
