Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Johnson Service Group in Charlotte. This 9+ month contract opportunity will provide you with the chance to work onsite, trained to inspect and test compliance equipment in the Tool Shop.

Your key responsibilities will include executing day-to-day activities in support of warehouse operations, including inventory control, issues, receiving, transfers, physical inventory, chemical inventory, and equipment management. Maintaining accurate inventory levels is essential for this role.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe movement and handling of required parts and maintenance materials into and out of the storeroom. You will work closely with supply chain and business partner teams to prioritize, schedule, and implement activities related to day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.

This role ensures the efficient flow of commodities in and out of plant inventories.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Good communication skills and ability to learn new processes and transactions in supply chain systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18/hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and a 401(k) plan.
