Job Summary:

As a Culinary Specialist at Centers Health Care, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foods. This includes baking a range of rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies, as well as working on the tray line during meal service. Additionally, you will be responsible for general cleaning up of the kitchen, hand washing and sanitizing of pots and pans, and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of a variety of foods for patient meals
Cooking and presentation of dishes to meet high standards of quality and presentation
Working on the tray line during meal service to ensure timely and efficient delivery of meals
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including hand washing and sanitizing of pots and pans
Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and make change (if applicable)
Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere
