Dietary Aide Role:

At Kensington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Cook to implement menu changes and plan regular and special diet menus as prescribed by attending physicians.
Recognize and respond to dietary emergencies, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes.
Complete forms, reports, and evaluations to ensure control of equipment and supplies.
Assist in developing methods to determine food quality and quantity served.
Meet with the Dietary Supervisor to identify and correct problem areas and improve services.
Assist the Cook in food preparation and serve meals that meet therapeutic diet requirements and sanitary regulations.
Inspect diet trays for accuracy, portion control, and appealing layout, and evaluate the kitchen and dietary area for upkeep, supply control, cleanliness, and safety.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
