Occupational Health Physician Assistant

This is a casual position for a Physician Assistant to work in Occupational Health at Corewell Health. The successful candidate will provide medical care to patients under physician supervision and coordinate comprehensive care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate comprehensive care delivery, writing orders and prescriptions as needed.
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical exams.
- Assess patient and healthcare team educational needs and develop teaching strategies.
- Act as a patient advocate and communicate with healthcare team members.
- Perform and assist with designated procedures.
- Document patient information and dictate as necessary.
- Contribute to strategic planning and evaluation of services.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- LIC-Physician Assistant license in the State of Michigan.
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross.
- CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association.
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic healthcare environment and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
