Parking Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

The RoleThe Parking Equipment and Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining parking equipment and overseeing maintenance projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients' parking equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and implement strategic maintenance projects to optimize performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Provide on-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
- Support multiple products and provide software and hardware support for clients and other field service technicians.
- Communicate effectively with customers and work well within a team environment.
- Parking experience is preferred.
- Ability to work on proprietary software.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, including preventative maintenance.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work with various operating systems and have knowledge of networking.
- SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically with customers.
- Electronic technical school training or equivalent.
- Knowledge of software operating systems is preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment and demonstrate a high level of compassionate customer service.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
