About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team at Legence. As a Plumbing Engineer, you will work closely with our Senior Plumbing Engineer on energy efficient projects for various clients.

This is a challenging role that requires a self-motivated individual with a technical background who thrives on resolving challenges, assisting clients, and leading all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Generating electronic responses to questions and reviews.
  • Attending meetings with owners, clients, and architects.
  • Providing guidance to staff engineers on energy efficient designs.
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and shop drawings.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques.
  • Conferring with other engineers to implement operating procedures.
  • Researching and analyzing client design proposal specifications.
  • Specifying system components or directing modification of products.
  • Developing client relations through feedback on customer concerns and needs.

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of industry experience in MEP Design.
  • Piping and equipment layout using Revit/AutoCAD.
  • Flow tests and engineering calculations.
  • Laying out waste/vent piping, domestic hot/cold piping, and storm piping.
  • Determining preliminary fire/domestic water requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Engineering.
