Sales Director

A leading manufacturer of high-quality, innovative hand tools for the professional and DIY markets seeks a skilled Sales Manager to provide sales, distribution, services, and support to retail, industrial, and eCommerce channels within North America.
Job Responsibilities:- Generate revenue through sales to new and/or existing key accounts within a geographic area.
- Review weekly and monthly sales progress with sales reps and provide direction.
- Communicate with VP of Sales and Marketing on a weekly basis to review territory performance, new account expansion, and possible issues.
- Develop and maintain an effective relationship with assigned sales reps and distributors to ensure the acceptance and implementation of company sales programs.
- Travel with sales reps to increase sales, new account expansion, training, new product introductions, evaluate competitors' products in the market, and formulate sales promotion recommendations.
- Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives to maximize sales opportunities.
- PC skills, including understanding of sales software systems, Microsoft Word & Excel required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Advanced knowledge of all products.
- Must be able to work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales-related role selling products.
$70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year.
