As a Senior Systems Developer, you will play a key role in the engineering development of commercial water chilling systems, leading the integration of mechanical system designs into chiller and split system new product development programs.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for developing solutions that best meet the local/global market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, you must have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics of the chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design, refrigerant system performance analysis and compression application.

Responsibilities:
- Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration and pumping
- Work cross functionally with service and operations teams to effectively launch designs into production
- Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements
- Confirm product design performance, capability and reliability in the engineering product test laboratories
- Collaborate with the product marketing teams locally to develop product requirements and ensure that the product meets their needs when launched
- Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives
- Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs
- Work toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes
- Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of systems engineering experience
- Project leadership experience
- Experience in a new product development, service and/or aftermarket space, preferred
- HVAC industry experience, strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, primarily in English
- Leadership and teamwork skills required
