Quality Assurance Technician

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and manufacturing? Do you enjoy working in a team-based environment and taking on new challenges? We're seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Argus Technical Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform gage calibrations and manage the calibration system to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Develop balloon drawings and export templates for FAI reports using software programs.
  • Inspect parts routed to QA per dispatch list, including in-process, cosmetic, and FAI inspections.
  • Create receiving inspection plans and perform receiving inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Manage the daily disposition of rejected in-process items and perform label verifications.
  • Provide backup support as needed, including creating Quality at the Source plans and storing material certifications.
Requirements:
  • Experience with gage calibration and measurement equipment, such as Romer Arm, Microvu, CMM, and hand-held gages.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurement callouts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience within quality, preferably in a similar role.
