Job Description

At Allied Fire Protection, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Remodel to lead our Remodel Division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our tenant improvement and retrofit operations, including managing a team of professionals, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all fire sprinkler tenant improvement and retrofit team members and processes company-wide
  • Prepare and adhere to the remodel operations budget; conduct resource analysis with SVP of Operations
  • Monitor and report on metrics involving revenue, gross margin, and productivity
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes to convert installation clients to remodel sales, where applicable
  • Oversee audits and work instructions improvement process to ensure integrity and relevance
  • Ensure that safety and risk assessment training is delivered to remodel employees
  • Develop, augment, and update sales pricing program for remodel sales
  • Propose ways to leverage technology and process improvement to increase productivity and profitability; onboarding newer technology as appropriate
  • Travel to other offices for team member support and coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned by executive management or SVP of Operations
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Higher education degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with technical references and codes
Work Experience:
  • 5+ years leading, managing, and developing multiple teams
  • Fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm design experience is preferred
  • Fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm field experience is preferred
  • Fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm sales experience is preferred
Skills and Competencies:
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and assist other departments as needed
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to locate, interpret, and apply applicable codes and references

  • Ability to effectively utilize computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite, Computer Ease, and other software required by the Company
