We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Sterile Processing Department at Northside Hospital Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the proper decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of instrumentation and equipment to multiple serviced departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise individual shift staff to ensure proper departmental flow and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with instrument sterilization techniques and standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve departmental productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve patient care.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Certified Central Service Technician with 2 years of surgical processing experience or surgical Technologist with 5 years of operating room experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques and standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 2 years or more sterile processing or related field supervisory experience (preferred).

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements.
