Job Title: Area Supervisor

As a key member of the Store Leadership team, the Area Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role is responsible for supervising a specific area of the store, as well as overseeing the general operations and supervision of the store when functioning as the Manager on Duty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by identifying and correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
  • Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
  • Supervise Associates and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting company standards.
  • Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
