Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Development Manager to join our team at Primoris Services Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in creating and delivering training content. You will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, designing training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.

You will also oversee the production and distribution of training materials, including classroom handouts, instructional manuals, and online resources. Additionally, you will deliver new hire orientation and customer-specific training courses, ensuring that all employees receive the necessary support to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to meet the needs of our staff and customers.
  • Create engaging and effective training content, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions, including new hire orientation and customer-specific courses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of training materials, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to all employees.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4 years of experience in linework (substation, transmission, underground or overhead distribution).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a trainer or in Power Line Safety.
  • The ability to climb wooden structures or possess the ability to learn.
  • OSHA 500 certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
