Senior Speech Therapist Opportunity in Durham, NC

About the PositionWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. This full-time contract position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution and active licensure in North Carolina. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. Previous school-based experience is highly valued, but not required.

This role involves assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and documenting progress, collaborating with teachers and staff, and educating parents on strategies to support their child's communication development.
