We are seeking an experienced Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As an Orthopedic Athletic Training Professional, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients under the direction of our Sports Medicine or Orthopedic Clinic Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct patient contact for the evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology consistent with the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies.
  • Identify, document, and resolve complex patient problems related to musculoskeletal care and patient service.
  • Perform educational responsibilities, including exercise instruction and demonstration, and answering patient questions regarding treatment plans, surgery, rehabilitation, and future care.
Requirements
  • Nationally certified athletic trainer (ATC).
  • Georgia state licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related profession.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of relevant medical terminology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
