Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

At GI Alliance, we are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Allen, TX. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has a strong commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital and clinic setting.
- Complete patient histories and physicals.
- Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests.
- Counsel patient and family on health and disease.
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities.
- Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner.
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred.
