We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at GI Alliance in Allen, TX.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital and clinic setting. This includes completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, and ordering appropriate laboratory tests. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to counsel patients and their families on health and disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
  • Complete patient histories and physicals
  • Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory tests
  • Counsel patients and their families on health and disease
  • Participate in continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes
  • Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
Requirements:
  • State-licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Gastrointestinal experience preferred
