Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform freight cost, service, and carrier management studies to identify savings opportunities

  • Collaborate with Engineering to build applications that utilize optimization and business intelligence tools
  • Develop methods of measuring and reporting operational efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in analysis and reporting, or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Experience with TMS systems and knowledge of transportation industry standard KPIs
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and continuous improvement methodologies
  • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products and SQL
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
Environment:

This role requires frequent sitting, reaching, and talking, with occasional lifting and moving up to 15 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
