Job Overview

As a Monorail Systems Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our transit systems.

Compensation: Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, increasing to $20.50 upon successful completion of necessary certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both corrective and preventive maintenance, along with inspections, repairs, and adjustments on all monorail systems and their electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues by repairing or replacing faulty parts, utilizing manuals, schematics, specifications, or other provided instructions.
  • Employ technical expertise in electronic principles to troubleshoot and resolve issues using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and testing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics and/or mechanical fields, or relevant technical training.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills in electronics and mechanics are essential.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed records of repairs and troubleshooting activities.
  • Willingness to work during holidays and weekends as needed.
  • A valid driver's license from Nevada is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are necessary for safety compliance.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including day, swing, and night shifts.
