Dental Hygienist Part-Time Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Dental Hygienist at Community of Hope, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality oral health care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical oral hygiene procedures as delegated and directed by a dentist in accordance with department protocols and accepted professional practice.
- Document all relevant patient information and service in the dental practice management system.
- Provide patient education on good oral hygiene practices and nutrition.
- Participate in the Quality Improvement program of the Dental Department.
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Coordinate with Dental Director to maintain and update provider schedules as needed.
- Diploma from an accredited dental hygienist program required.
- Active DC dental hygienist license or willingness to obtain one required.
- 2 years experience in a dental office practice preferred.
- CPR required.
- Ability to work in a non-profit environment and a commitment to work with under-served populations.
