About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Photovoltaic Systems Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, CA. As a key member of our safety and quality department, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to assess safety and quality protocols, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety and quality procedures, including training programs and incident reporting protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, fostering open communication and a culture of safety and quality excellence.
  • Analyze and resolve complex safety and quality issues, applying expert knowledge and problem-solving skills to drive positive outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff on safety and quality best practices, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our safety and quality performance.
  • Lead and participate in regular safety and quality meetings, driving discussion and action on critical issues.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in photovoltaic systems, commercial non-residential systems preferred.
  • Ability to read schematic drawings and analyze complex systems.
  • Experience running commercial size conduit and working on commercial new-construction job sites with multiple trades.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience building and maintaining high-performing teams.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with ability to navigate changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Competitive salary range: $85K - $95K annually, DOE.
