Patient Flow Coordinator

Job Title: Patient Flow CoordinatorWe are seeking a highly organized and customer-centric Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at Long's Human Resource Services.
Salary: $42,000 - $50,000 per year (estimated), depending on experience
Job Description- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience by handling patient registration, check-in, and discharge, and supporting daily clinic operations.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and uphold clinic standards to maintain a positive reputation.
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information, scan health record documents, collect payments, co-pays, and prior balances, manage patient flow, review clinic schedules, and follow check-in/discharge protocols.
- Provide general patient services, including addressing concerns and resolving complaints with the office manager.
- Work on scheduling and coordinating ancillary and consult appointments, answer phone inquiries professionally, and assist in training new care access associates.
- Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in an access center, customer service, or healthcare setting is necessary.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
