Position Summary
The Global Client Finance (GCF) department is responsible for the financial and commercial oversight of global clients, including major names like Johnson & Johnson, Spotify, ExxonMobil, BMW, Unilever, Sony, and American Express. The primary objective of this department is to enhance global client revenue and profitability across the Mediabrands network. The GCF team frequently collaborates with international markets.
The Global Client Finance Analyst will assist the GCF team in managing global clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the GCF Manager in overseeing a select group of global clients, including analyzing financial performance against targets, identifying market opportunities and challenges, and participating in regular business review meetings for each client. Identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Support the preparation of profitability analyses, internal reporting, contract development and maintenance, client reporting, and compensation negotiations.
- Provide ad-hoc financial information and reports to Client Business Leads.
- Contribute to the commercial aspects of new business pitches, including RFP responses, pitch budget management, compensation modeling, and contract development.
- Gather and analyze financial data from international markets to review with managers and determine appropriate actions and follow-ups.
- Examine and address specific market variances to forecasts and targets.
- Source necessary data from various financial systems and generate ad hoc analyses.
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel.
- Accurate, inquisitive, and efficient in work with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management capabilities with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
- Professional demeanor that conveys composure.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a personable approach suitable for client interactions.
- A college degree is not a requirement for candidates.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- One year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Hyperion is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in media planning and/or buying is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus but not required.
