Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Monterey Park, California.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies.
  • Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Venipuncture certification in CA and HI.
