- Desire to engage on the shop floor alongside production machinists in a supportive capacity.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Experience with CMM is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Database Management, and Order Processing Systems.
- Experience programming computerized measuring tools, including CMM, Keyence, Klingelnberg, and GMM.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits on the production floor with team members to ensure compliance with quality standards and accurate data documentation.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, oscilloscopes, and vision systems for product inspection prior to shipment.
- Perform gage calibration.
- Verify final inspection documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Inspect incoming raw materials.
- Execute internal audits to assess compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards.
- Carry out final audits of products prior to dispatch to clients.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Work Instructions (JWIs).
- Ensure timely execution of first piece inspections.
