About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in our ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete histories and physicals, documenting patient progress in the medical record
  • Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques, diagnostic procedures, and relevant supporting information
  • Assess patient risks associated with acute and complex chronic conditions, including medication side effects, immobility, and fluid and electrolyte imbalance
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to make diagnoses of acute and complex chronic conditions
  • Formulate plans of care to address patient needs, utilizing evidenced-based practice guidelines and protocols
  • Implement and modify plans of care as needed, prescribing diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions

Requirements

  • National Board Certification as a Primary/Family Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • BLS certification
  • Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment
