About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at MelroseWakefield Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in promoting clinical excellence and providing leadership, clinical practice expertise, education, program development, and consultation to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to improve patient outcomes and achieve program goals
  • Collaborate with management and other leadership to develop criteria for patient care, assess health needs of patients, and evaluate nursing interventions
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient, unit, department, and organizational goals
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of educational activities and utilize data for future programming
  • Coordinate orientation of nursing staff to the organization/unit
  • Provide educational opportunities that benefit nurses at all stages of their career
  • Deliver competence-based programs for nursing staff with a focus on improvement of skills and retention of knowledge
Requirements
  • Massachusetts RN Licensure
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
  • Recent experience in hospital education and training preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
