About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled GIS and Database Specialist to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support on various projects and programs, including federal, state, and local government contracts, as well as commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with clients to establish and document requirements and develop applications using COTS tools and/or customized solutions
  • Review existing practices for data collection and management
  • Identify targets for improvement
  • Use advanced data management tools to automate repetitive processes and improve data quality and visualization products
  • Modify existing systems based on changing technologies and client needs
Secondary Functions
  • Occasional travel for field work on project sites
  • Assist project managers and field staff with environmental sampling and assessment activities in support of environmental investigation and/or emergency response activities
Requirements
  • GIS and web-based mapping application development skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and other relational database systems
  • At least 3 years' related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Introductory to intermediate level experience as a GIS web application developer for ArcGIS Enterprise, including the use of Web App Builder, Portal with languages and API's currently supported by ESRI including REST Services, Python, HTML, CSS, JSON, and Javascript
  • Demonstrated experience using ESRI ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server 10.8 or higher (Experience Builder, Story Map, Field Maps, Survey123), as well as geodatabase design and management skills
