Job Summary

As a Speech Pathologist I at Alameda Health System, you will provide professional services, including diagnosis and treatment, to individuals with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients overcome their communicative challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Administer diagnostic tests to assess patients' communicative abilities
Develop and implement treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Counsel patients and relatives on communicative disorders and home treatment
Participate in ward rounds and inter-disciplinary staff meetings to discuss patient progress

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association-approved school
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year of on-the-job training
Licensure and certification in Speech Pathology
