We are seeking a highly skilled professional to perform regular cost accounting tasks, including:

  • Inventory valuation and cost of goods sold calculation
  • Overhead cost allocation and analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand production costs and make recommendations for financial optimization. They will also prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing clear and concise explanations of complex financial data.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in cost accounting and cost analysis
  • Private equity experience is highly preferred
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing processes and their financial implications
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CMA or CPA certification is a plus
