Position Overview:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at CVS Health, you will leverage your clinical expertise to educate patients and their families about complex therapies related to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). Your role will involve providing essential training and support for infusion therapies, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.

  • This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
  • Flexibility to travel is required, with primary patient visits in designated regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Operate within a specialized nursing field, enjoying the independence that comes with home care services.
  • Assist patients transitioning to or starting infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients and their caregivers through personalized interactions.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in technology to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required by business needs.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to patient locations will be conducted via car and airplane.
  • Overnight travel may be necessary, with a mix of remote work.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside within a reasonable distance from a major airport.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the relevant state, with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in critical care or acute care settings, or equivalent home infusion experience.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with medical and clinical personnel.
  • Willingness to travel as outlined in the position summary.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance are necessary.
  • Participation in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing needs.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with patients suffering from pulmonary arterial hypertension is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Background in home healthcare and pediatric nursing is preferred.
  • CRNI certification is a plus.

Educational Requirements:

RN Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
