Job Summary

Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Sedro-Woolley. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately welding steel assemblies from plans, specifications, and quality control hold points.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld steel assemblies in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality control hold points
  • Perform simple fittings and process complex parts for assembly
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions, dimensional and welding drawings, and produce production-quality welds within a given process
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in welding or trade school education
  • Certified welder holding current WABO or AWS certification (FCAW)
  • Skillful operation of non-specialized metal working equipment
  • Ability to read and understand shop plans, blueprints, and work orders
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include full range of mobility in upper and lower body, ability to reach overhead, work in various positions, and lift up to 70 pounds. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
