Job Title: CT Technologist Multimodality

HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist Multimodality to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Lenexa, Kansas.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality computerized tomography images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Prefer graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
