Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and position patients on the CT table, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
- Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients, and clean/sterilize equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to minimize exposure and ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of experience preferred, with additional training in CT scanning.
- On-call required, with the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
