Clinical Lead RN Surgical Oncology Position in Norwalk, CT

Job Summary
The Clinical Lead RN position in the Surgical Oncology department at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT is a critical role that requires a skilled and experienced nurse to lead the clinical staff and ensure smooth daily operational flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient care duties, including patient check-in, vital signs, and medication administration.
- Coordinate further patient care and follow-up, and carry out tasks as directed by RN and/or physician/provider.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the Practice Leadership, including Growth/Financial Stability, Patient Experience, Operational Efficiency, Employee Satisfaction/Culture, and Quality.
- Develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluate the effectiveness, and modify activities as necessary.
- Mentor, orient, train, educate, and supervise clinical staff to improve competency and patient satisfaction using established workflows and policies.
Requirements
- Valid RN License (CT or NY based on Practice Location)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Working Conditions
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
