Job Summary

The Clinical Lead RN is a key member of the Surgical Oncology department at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT, responsible for coordinating the daily operational flow and optimizing patient care. This role requires strong leadership and clinical expertise to direct and assist the assigned staff in their daily work processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient check-in, document chief complaint, vital signs, history, and capture charges for provision of ancillary services.
  • Administer and document injections, dispense and document medications as directed by physician/provider.
  • Assist with coordination of further patient care and follow-up, and carry out tasks as directed by RN and/or physician/provider.
  • Independently manage patient triage calls and seek direction from providers as needed.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the Practice Leadership, including Growth/Financial Stability, Patient Experience, Operational Efficiency, Employee Satisfaction/Culture, and Quality.
Requirements
  • Valid RN License (CT or NY based on Practice Location)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Medium to Heavy effort, may exert up to 35 lbs. force
Working Conditions

Generally pleasant working conditions, with some manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity required.
