Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager's primary role is to provide support to the Apartment Property Manager. This opportunity is for a full-time hourly non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Income Collection: Maintain accurate resident records and update all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents and prospects on a daily basis.
  • Notice Issuance: Issue appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, NSF checks, etc.
  • Financial Management: Make daily bank deposits and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all prospects and residents.
  • Unit Inspections: Inspect models, vacant units, and common areas to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Lease Renewals: Coordinate with residents for lease renewals on a monthly basis.
  • Leasing Functions: Execute all leasing functions, including answering incoming calls, scheduling property tours, greeting prospects, touring prospects on property and through model apartments, and initiating follow-up communications.
  • Market Research: Assist with the completion of monthly competition market surveys.
  • Work Order Management: Assist with accepting work order requests, including input into the work order system, and communication with maintenance personnel.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all move-ins and move-outs, availability, and unit status.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Multi-Family experience.
  • Proven customer service experience and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems.
  • OneSite software experience desired.
