**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Templeton Landing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the effective and efficient operations of food production activities for our event center.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Responsible for food production and ensuring adherence to all recipes, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Operates all kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following facility and chefs' safe food handling guidelines.
- Follows all sanitation and nutrition practices, and ensures that kitchen staff adhere to these standards.
- Oversees and assists the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production, including kitchen prep and cooking.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or General Manager.
**Requirements:**
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Detailed-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and time management.
- Ability to interface with various levels of management.
- Strong familiarity with OSHA and local Department of Health Regulations.
- PC literate with a working knowledge of Outlook, Esysco, and MS Excel preferred.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or 2 years related experience preferred.
**Schedule and Travel Requirements:**
Full-time schedule with potential for fluctuation based on departmental requirements. Local travel may be required.
**Physical Demands:**
Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
