Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Lithia Springs, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular employee meetings to keep team members informed of policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Communicate new programs and initiatives to team members to drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Assist with inventory management to maximize room revenue and ensure budgeted targets are met.
  • Organize and prepare accounts payable/receivable, deposits, and direct bills.
  • Generate a positive and safe environment for employees and guests.
  • Monitor and lead the guest service team, resolving conflicts and ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Train team members on brand standards and create schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Ensure high associate morale by recognizing and rewarding team members who meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Participate in staffing needs, including interviewing, screening, hiring, and employee relations.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify issues and document concerns for the General Manager.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to cover various business needs.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage timecards for Guest Service Representatives and ensure satisfactory scores with brand audits.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of previous hospitality experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline preferred.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in various computer and software applications.
