Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Team Lead at one of our long-term care facilities in New York City. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a safe and respectful environment;
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed;
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery;
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, participating in policy development and implementation to enhance patient outcomes;
Requirements:
  • A valid New York State license to practice as a Registered Nurse;
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association;
  • At least four years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as a nurse supervisor or team lead;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending required;
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish language skills preferred but not required;
