Job Summary

Gotion, Inc. is a leading power battery technology company that provides innovative solutions for electric vehicles and energy storage systems. We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation electric vehicle and energy storage technologies.

Responsibilities:

* Provide pre-sales technical support for customer account engagements, including the development of documentation and training to ensure high-quality designs and minimal post-sales technical support issues.
* Manage technical account engagements as a key member of the sales team to ensure comprehensive design, installation, and operational plans are developed and communicated to drive successful ESS solution adoption and ongoing business growth and loyalty.
* Provide pre-sales technical support for utility-scale and commercial business and projects/deals, and customized/unique design support to ensure Gotion design win and high-quality designs that save customers capital and labor costs.
* Engage with Research and Development and Product Management teams on identified product/technical issues and provide recommendations for product improvements.
* Coordinate field testing and feedback collection for new hardware and software.
* Collaborate with Customer Support to enable a closed-loop system on key/top technical and product-related issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, especially with top area installer accounts.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in ESS engineering/design technical pre-sales support and project management.
* Ability to effectively communicate complex technical subject matter with external partners and customers.
* Strong networking and communication expertise.
* Ability and willingness to travel locally, domestically, and internationally.

What We Offer:

* Competitive base pay within a range of $130,000-$170,000 USD, depending on skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
