Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data models that meet the business needs of our mission partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical requirements for data modeling
• Research and evaluate technical aspects of IT systems to improve data handling and analysis capabilities
• Develop formal data structures that can be used across multiple mission partners
• Identify and integrate data sources to support data modeling efforts
• Use data modeling products to develop sustainable and scalable solutions
• Support the design, development, and testing of enterprise data engineering components

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data modeling with a BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD
• Expert knowledge of data modeling and data modeling tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work across organizational boundaries
• Ability to collaboratively interact with customers, including senior management, ETL software engineers, data scientists, and end users
• TS/SCI with poly

• Solid grasp of data integrity, quality, and data security
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure capabilities and constraints
• Strong command of data architecture principles and ability to design scalable and flexible data models
• Skills in advanced SQL, including query tuning and optimization

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
