Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct respiratory therapy procedures, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA-accredited program.
  • Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • 4 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or 15 years of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
