Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Patient Care Technician II to join our team at Loyola University Health System. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care services, including bathing, oral hygiene, and skin care.
  • Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, including setting up and priming IV tubing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program with placement on the Illinois Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry or verification of an equal or higher educational level in a clinically focused program.
