Director of Rehabilitation/DOR Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our in-house rehabilitation team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the rehabilitation program, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the rehabilitation program, including staffing levels, patient care, and operational needs.
  • Ensure ongoing rollout of new policies and procedures to departmental staff.
  • Participate in facility performance improvement programs and marketing activities.
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills and respond in a timely manner.
  • Ensure ongoing communication with patients, clients, and team members to maintain strong customer relations.
  • Manage productivity standards to meet clinical and operational goals.
  • Evaluate and provide counseling to team members.
  • Review medical records to ensure federal and state requirements are met.
  • Implement facility procedures to meet standards.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed by Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology school.
  • Licensed by the state in which the therapist resides or practices, according to state requirement.
  • High school graduate or equivalent for non-licensed therapists.
